LDK Solar to Applied Materials issued 220 million U.S. dollars of orders

LDK Solar to Applied Materials has issued 220 million U.S. dollars of orders, orders to precision wafer processing system, to expand production into the next step.

The equipment will be early 2009 plans to LDK Solar Xinyu the factory, which will significantly higher than the LDK Solar previously announced in the 2010 expansion of solar wafer production capacity to 3.2 GW goal.

SunEdison joint subsidiary of Q-Cell enter the field of photovoltaic

North America's largest solar energy service providers SunEdison15 announced today that the company has with Q-Cells International USA (Q-Cells AG, a subsidiary) has signed a five-year, a total of 800 MW of development cooperation agreement.

According to the agreement, Q-Cells will provide a total of 800 MW of solar modules, both companies will jointly develop the North American PV market.

SunEdison Chief Operating Officer Carlos Domenech said, "This agreement for SunEdison is of far-reaching significance. As the world's leading solar energy service providers, we are pleased to Q-Cells of advanced technology into the market."
